Ingredients
6 green chillies
10 small red onions or 1 big red onion
a few tender curry leaves (Karapincha)
tamarind or lime juice to taste
1 thin slice of root ginger
1 cup of grated coconut
salt to taste
Method
Blend and grind all ingredients with a little water.
This is an ideal sambol for string hoppers, plain rice, thosai and idli.
